Root Cause Analysis
The bulk carrier had a major grounding in far east and Constructive Total Loss was declared. We were tasked to carry out an independent incident investigation and root cause analysis.
Advisory
A major LPG terminal was proposed to be built in African Continent and we were tasked to advise and confirm the suitability of port including approach channel and local capabilities.
Solutioning
The steel bars cargo could not be discharged from the vessel and very poor discharging rate was achieved. We worked and coordinated with port authorities, stevedores, ship’ crew, charterers and receivers to find out most efficient solution and helped discharging the whole cargo quickly.

Ram Gautam
Co-founder and Managing Partner
Ram Gautam is a Master Mariner and MBA from one of the top Business School of India. He is a shipping enthusiast bringing wealth of operational experience. His areas of interest are technical ship management, safety on board, commercial shipping and very specialized product trading.
He is a commercial director and responsible for day-to-day operations, business development, market analysis and finally ensuring clients expectations are always met. Naturally resilient and optimist, he is on a path of creating sustainable and safe shipping.
Jyoti Sharma
Senior Director, HR and Strategy
Jyoti Sharma is a senior director and associated with company since inception. She ensures that company policies remain aligned with business objectives.
With post-graduation in social science, she specialises in Human Resources and takes active participation in strategic decisions. She is instrumental in maintaining healthy work-life balance across company and ensures Jyo Energy commitment towards ethical and transparent business while keeping focus on sustainability.
Dalci Mesquita
Business Development and Sourcing Head
Dalci is a Senior Trading and Supply Chain Management leader with four decades of robust business experience in Brazilian Agri market. He has been involved with major companies such as Bunge, Matosul Group, Cargill, Dreyfus and Ceagro.
He is responsible for managing Jyo Energy business interest in Brazil and whole of South America. He has wealth of experience in handling of imports and exports of soy, corn, wheat, fertilizers and sugar etc.

Our vessel is rejected by an Oil Major recently and business is directly affected, how could you assist?
We have a very good understanding of various Oil Major requirements. A through gap analysis is carried out and an expert consultant is assigned to prepare the vessel and turn around is carried out in record time.

There is a serious incident on board, what role could you play?
A thorough and detailed incident investigation shall be carried out by a senior investigator and concrete follow-up actions shall be proposed. A clear timeline to manage and meet the close-out shall also be proposed.

The Internal Audit and other audits are overdue, our auditor could not board the vessel because of travel issues and others.
Leave this into our safe hands, we shall plan and carry out required audits at the most suitable opportunity with no disturbances in vessel schedule.
